CCMAC, and Lambeth Council, are frustrated that the kiosk on West Side remains empty, more than three years on from the initial refurbishment work carried out by Lambeth.  An established SW London hospitality operator has been lined up for some time and remains keen to move in and set up;  but the latest stumbling block is the long wait to secure the upgrade to the electricity supply that the new operator requires, because of UK Power Network’s wider backlog of work.  We hope the planned new café can still be ready to open this year.
