After months of anticipation, Spread on the Common has officially opened its doors at the Battersea Woods Café on Clapham Common.

Operated by the team behind the popular Spread café on Lavender Hill, the new location brings speciality coffee and a fresh food offering to one of the Common’s most popular destinations. Set within the restored former changing rooms building, the café also benefits from one of the largest outdoor seating areas on Clapham Common, providing a welcoming space for walkers, runners, families and anyone enjoying the park.

The opening marks another positive step in bringing the Battersea Woods Café building back into active community use. As with any new opening, the café is currently in a soft launch period while the team fine-tunes operations, so visitors may notice a few small adjustments as everything settles into place.

Spread on the Common is open daily and aims to become a year-round meeting place for the local community, offering speciality coffee, pastries, sandwiches and seasonal menu items in a unique park setting.
