Clapham Common’s new wildflower haven, alongside Windmill Drive, is bursting into bloom, with daisies, cornflowers and poppies attracting bees and other wildlife to our beautiful green open space.

Given the recent lack of rain and the forecast for more sunny, hot weather, CCMAC does need your help to water the flowers. We have set up regular watering sessions every Saturday throughout the summer starting at 10am. It is a light task and one done swiftly if there are enough people to help – as the popular adage goes ‘many hands make light work’.

If you can help please join us at Bandstand Beds from 10am each Saturday – watering cans, tea and biscuits provided.
