Do you want to know about future plans for Clapham Common?

Clapham Common MAC, the community group working with Lambeth Council to manage Clapham Common, is having its 17th annual meeting on Thursday 2 February at 7pm at Omnibus Theatre, 1 Clapham Common Northside.

We will be joined by Florence Eshalomi, our local MP, and key personnel from Lambeth Council, including Cllr Rezina Chowdhury, Cabinet Member for Sustainable Development, who will speak and answer your questions about future plans Clapham Common.

All local residents and users of Clapham Common are welcome to join us to hear about future plans for our treasured green and open space. This is a free event.

We will also elect ten Community Representatives for a two-year term from February 2023 to February 2025. 

Nominees should be resident in one of five local authority wards that border Clapham Common – Clapham Town, Clapham Common & Abbeville, Clapham East, Balham, Northcote, and Shaftesbury & Queenstown – or represent a major user group (e.g. sports or community) on Clapham Common.

Candidates are asked to ensure they have time available to make a meaningful contribution.
