Clapham’s waterplay area will officially reopen on 23rd May, just in time for the return of warmer weather and longer days on the Common.
After a hugely popular run last summer, the space is set to welcome families back for another season of splashing, playing and cooling off quickly becoming one of the most in-demand spots locally during hotter days.
Located on Clapham Common, the waterplay area has become a go-to for parents across South West London, particularly during school holidays when free outdoor activities are in high demand.
In recent months, part of the space has been home to The Cabin Sauna a temporary outdoor sauna and cold plunge experience that brought a different kind of energy to the Common over winter. The installation is set to wrap up at the end of April, making way for the return of the splash zone.
The reopening signals the shift into summer on the Common, with the waterplay area once again expected to be one of the busiest and most popular spots for families in the area.
